So I quit quitting.

After the Kelowna marathon, where I realised my ankle injury wasn't quite recovered yet, I decided that I wasn't going to go on any long runs until at least January. Well, there is snow in the mountains and that plan went to hell real fast. I went running in Myra-Bellevue Park and by km 4 of the Lost Lake Trail this is how it looked.

I really like running in the snow, and the weather in Kelowna is fantastic for winter running. It's rarely reallly all that cold. Going uphill in the snow is quite the challenge, and a killer on the calves.

By this point I was the only thing leaving tracks on the snow. It feels neat knowing that I am the only living thing that's been on those trails since it last snowed.
