work as a workout

Today's work work-out:

30 - 40 fifty metre sprints down a hallway

30 - 40 sets of stair climbs (half of those carrying at least 15 pounds)

about 2 km worth of steps

70 - 100 times carrying or tossing weights (garbages, stock pots, oil pots etc)

Throughout the day I do these sorts of physical activity, in between prepping and cooking. It feels like my heart rate is bouncing back and forth from 100 to 130 and back for nine hours, and at the end of the day my muscles in my legs and upper body feel not just tired, but the same soreness as though I've had a workout.

Last week; I worked Friday night, ran 2.5 hours saturday morning, worked saturday night.
This week: Work thursday night, run after work at night, work friday night, run saturday morning (short), work sat night, 1/2 marathon race sunday morning.

Work, eat, run, eat, sleep. Repeat. And Yet I feel like I have more energy than last year.
