Finding more time in the day.

I feel like the amount of time I spend training doesn't leave me enough time to do other things. Maybe it's the whole new job feeling still hanging around. So I thought how can I find more time in my day?

Today I boxed up my xbox 360 and shoved it under my bed. That should clear up a few extra hours in my day.

January I ran over 400 km (longest distance in a month ever), over 45 hrs running (most time on feet running in a month ever), and over 12 km elevation gain (40,618 feet). With the sports I've played this was my second most exercise in a month.

I feel as though I'm slowly getting back into shape, building up nicely. For the first time, I feel like I'm being truly consistent. Short term I think this bodes well for the 100 miler on the horizon, and long term I think if I keep cycling through with volume like this it should do well for continual growth.





Have you seen the new tim hortons commercial? they're selling a grilled cheese panini sandwich for $3.99!!! Holy crap. Second sign of the apocalypse coming upon us. And the best part is that people are going to buy this. Stupid Canadians.

  1. Impressive month Neil. Nice work on your training... no wonder you feel like you don't have much time left in your days. You must have been running around in your sleep to get those stats ;) Good luck at Orca's this weekend.
